Booking and Payment Terms and Conditions (Section A)

Boarding rates are charged on a daily basis including the day of arrival and departure.

Boarding rates include food, bedding, cat litter, air conditioning, and cleaning services

Acceptable methods of payment are bank transfer or cash. Card payments will soon be implemented. Cheques are not accepted.

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total boarding fee is required to confirm a booking and reserve the chalet.

Chalet reservations are not guaranteed until the deposit is received.

Provisional bookings without a deposit will only be held for a maximum of 3 working days.

The balance of the boarding fees must be paid at least 4 weeks before the first day of boarding.

If a booking is made less than 4 weeks before the commencement of boarding, the boarding fees must be paid in full at the time of reservation.

For reservations made less than 5 working days before the commencement of boarding, fees must be settled in full before boarding commences.

All fees are non-refundable.
Medical Terms and Conditions (Section B)

Cats are boarded at the sole risk of the owner and whilst every care and precaution will be taken, Catari Cat Hotel cannot be held liable for any loss, illness, injury or death of any animal in their care.

In general, cats will not be accepted for boarding without a valid and up-to-date vaccination card for immunisation against rabies, feline panleukopenia virus, feline rhinotracheitis virus, and feline calicivirus.

Cats who have been vaccinated less than 14 days prior to check-in may be shedding a virus and will be required to be housed in our isolation chalets. There is very limited availability for this accommodation.

Owners must inform us at the time of booking of any medical history which may affect the cat’s stay including any pre-existing or recurring medical conditions.

Cats over 6 months of age are only accepted for boarding if neutered/spayed.

Flea treatment is mandatory and can be supplied by the Catari Cat Hotel for a fee.

It is recommended that no flea treatment is applied at least 14 days prior to check-in.

We reserve the right to refuse admission to any cat showing signs of illness.

We will make every effort to administer medication when necessary, but will only give the medication if the cat is cooperative and does not risk causing harm to staff.

If a contagious illness or disease is suspected, we reserve the right to isolate your cat in a designated area or arrange transfer to a veterinary clinic.

We reserve the right to contact your designated veterinary surgeon to discuss your cat's past or current medical conditions.

In emergency situations, your cat will be transported to the nearest available veterinary clinic at our discretion.

In the event of non-emergency illness or injury, we will use reasonable endeavours to contact you. However, if this is not possible, any treatment deemed necessary will be carried out without your express consent by a qualified veterinary surgeon or by our trained staff as deemed appropriate.

Veterinary fees for treatment of your cat will be the owner's responsibility.

Any medical treatment costs must be reimbursed to Catari Cat Hotel in full upon collection. Please note that cats will not be released until payment is made in full.
Boarding Arrangements and Transport (Section C)

Sharing of accommodation is only available to cats who are considered compatible and are from the same household. We reserve the right to separate cats showing signs of distress or aggression. The appropriate charges will apply.

Additional cats cannot be accommodated in chalets that are already at the specified maximum occupancy capacity.

Cats must be transported to the Hotel and enter the building in a secure and suitable pet travel carrier.

Images of your cat may be used for media purposes.

All belongings are left at the owner's risk.
Emergency Contact (Section D)

We require a contact number which will be used in the event we are unable to contact the owner. This contact number will be used in emergency medical situations or if you are delayed collecting your cat.
Food and Feeding (Section E)

Owners are welcome to supply their cat’s favourite or prescription brand of cat food for the duration of the boarding period. There will be no reduction in boarding fees in these circumstances.

Food supplied by the Catari Cat Hotel is subject to availability.

We will use reasonable endeavours to supply and feed as instructed by the owners. However, alternative brands or suitable foods may be fed if the cat is not eating its usual diet.
Collection (Section F)

If you are unable to collect your cat during office opening hours, you must make advance arrangements to either book a Pet Taxi or arrange for someone to collect your cat on your behalf. If neither of these options is possible you must book an extra day’s boarding for which payment will be required upon collection. Please note we cannot guarantee boarding for your cat for any extra days.

If somebody other than you is collecting your cat please inform us of their details before check-out.

If a guest has not been collected during office opening hours on check-out day, and there has been no communication from the owner, an additional day's boarding fee may be applied.
Non-Collection (Section G)

If cats have not been collected within 1 week after the check-out date, and despite best efforts, it has not been possible for us to make contact with the owner or their emergency contact, arrangements will be made for unclaimed cats at our discretion.
